The Kelantan Malay Custom and Islamic Religious Council (MAIK) has introduced an online programme, MAIK-NET, linking all religious institutions under its jurisdiction in the state.
Its deputy president, Datuk Kamaruddin Mat Zain, said the move was to enable MAIK to serve the people better.
"MAIK-Net is a network which links MAIK to all offices and institutions under its jurisdiction, especially mosques," he told Bernama here on Thursday.
He said MAIK had allocatted RM100,000 for purchase of equipments.
